Infant developmental assessment includes evaluating development across multiple areas including language, motor development, hearing and sight.

Toddler developmental assessment includes speech and language, gross motor coordination, fine motor coordination, personal-social development, performance and emotional development.

Young child developmental assessment

Cognitive development (3 years – 6 years)– identification of developmental delays and possible impediments to classroom learning.

School readiness assessment – Grade R  measures the young child’s readiness for commencement of formal schooling in Grade 1 across all areas of functioning including developmental, cognitive, emotional and physical aspects required for optimal academic performance.

Full Psycho-educational Scholastic Assessment(Gr 1-12)

Identifies current functioning across multiple areas of development

  • intellectual – inherent ability strengths and weaknesses
  • cognitive processing e.g speed
  • physiological e.g. ADHD/anxiety/depression
  • specific learning difficulties e.g. dyslexia
  • emotional factors -lack of confidence, self- esteem

impacting on the child/adolescent’s classroom learning and academic performance.

A comprehensive report is provided with recommendations on how best to assist the learner in achieving their fullest potential.
